I honestly hate leaving this review because my wife and I LOVE being there together. It’s “our place”. Checking in is always wonderful. Brandi makes us feel welcome and appreciated. She is absolutely amazing and I can’t say anything bad about her. The Girl who answered the phone at the front desk this morning at 11:22am when I called to let her know that we slept in (we had a late check out) copped a disgusting attitude and said “Oh, well I’ll give you until 11:30” I just couldn’t muster up the amount of control it would have taken me to stop speaking to her once I got started so I hung up the phone (Rude, I admit). I had the mindfulness of a nun to call the front to let them know we’d be a couple minutes late checking out and she had the (whatever it takes) entitlement to give me ten minutes to vacate? I have two future reservations. I plan to continue booking our weekends away at the “village” at “Our place”. I would like someone to address this review and follow up with me. I don’t know who that little lady thinks she is. Unless she owns the Village Creek Inn I would suggest a weekend retreat at a customer service seminar or finding someone else to deal with returning/Loyal customers. Unbelievable. I wish I had the self control to at least have asked her for her name. We didn’t even check out. But we cleaned the room and left at 11:57, Sunday December 7th from room 219. 3 whole minutes before we had to. Imagine calling the front desk of any Lodging and the staff telling you that they’ll give you 10 minutes to leave? Yeah we’re super happy.

We booked the pijama party for a double belated birthday celebration. We did not know what to expect so we were ok with the room: beds fine, but my friend hated the pillows. Staff was excellent…very friendly and helpful. The maintenance of the hot tub was great for us…clean and hot enough on a very cold and windy night. One thing I will suggest is that the hot tub towels be MUCH bigger to cover you when you get out in winter or provide robes upon request. You could potentially get very chilled, as we did, from getting out of the water to get to the nearest door…even with 2 of those towels that are provided. Also, just a heads up when booking a package with the Inn, you have to book all your other services separately. For example, when we called to book yoga which was mentioned in the potential activities, we were really disappointed when the yoga instructor said she wasn’t doing it. So, I would suggest that the Inn add some qualification on the website.

I just returned from a 2 night getaway to the Village at Pigeon Lake. The Village Inn is so cozy and lovely. The staff are kind and helpful and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable to stay in. The spa, restaurants and stores within walking distance of the hotel are delightful and provide plenty to do and enjoy while visiting the Village. I would highly recommend this Inn. 10/10

The rooms were clean, and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, we loved our little patio where we had our breakfast every morning and the outdoor closed in gazebo with the hottub inside was a perfect way to end each evening. Everything about our visit was amazing. All of the shops in the village just across the parking lot from the Inn. bank, liquor store, bakery, gift shop, and clothing store & ice cream shop, amazing food at all 3 restaurants plus a grocery outlet. You are just a few minutes drive to a lovely beach, it was the perfect get away

We’ve stayed at Village Creek Country Inn a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. This time, the bed in our original room wasn’t quite right—but the staff were incredibly accommodating. Megan was especially helpful and found us another room that ended up being in the perfect location. Quiet, private, and just steps away from the hot tub and fire table! We appreciated the thoughtful service and will definitely be back.

Stayed here this weekend and was pleasantly impressed that the dog friendly room was beautiful and comfortable with a lovely kitchen and super comfortable queen bed . We stayed in 103 and I would recommend this room or one like it to anyone with a pet as not overlooked , wooded area to walk out on .
